Please note that this is the only recognised website for The Queensland Coeliac Society Inc.
The Society is the recognised 'expert in gluten free eating' and runs a support centre at Spring Hill, which is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm. The Support Centre offers up-to-date information to members on Coeliac Disease and Gluten Free foods, sells recipe books, CD on Coeliac Disease, ID cards, ingredient lists and information about travelling interstate or overseas.
The Society is a not-for-profit, self-help charitable organisation run by volunteers to support others who suffer with Coeliac Disease and related conditions.
Our Mission
The Queensland Coeliac Society promotes awareness in the community and enhances the quality of life for all people medically diagnosed as requiring a Gluten Free diet for whole-of-life.
Our Vision
To be recognised as the leading organisation providing support for people requiring a Gluten Free diet.
Information on Coeliac Disease and The Queensland Coeliac Society for the whole of Queensland is sent from the Brisbane office. We also have a display of Gluten Free products at the Support Centre.
Seminars and events are organised from time to time.
